What is a HUDDLE UP!Ó?

A HUDDLE UP!Ó is a 3 - 5 minute meeting every day which includes an opening, the meeting or training part, and a closing.

The opening or GREET component is simply a way to get everyone focused and ready to go to work.  This may include recognition of the previous day's accomplishments, a birthday or anniversary, or even a welcome back for someone who has been away. 

The training or MEET part of the HUDDLE UP is used to briefly convey information and daily job training, safety awareness, and/or customer service focus.

The closing or EXCITE component summarizes the training, answers questions, encourages performance, and ensures everyone is on the same page.
